Confection Sunflower Imports By Spain Maintain Firm Performance
PANAMA - Jan 17/23 - SNS -- Spain's imports of confection sunflowers during November rocketed versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports for the month reached 28,550 metric tons (MT), up from 12,567 MT the previous month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 320,304, up 21% last year.
France was the most important supplier during the month, supplying 12,849 MT. Bulgaria was the second most important origin supplying 12,139 MT, followed by China at 2,215 MT.
