Italy's Field Pea Imports Continue Soft Tone
PANAMA - Jan 17/23 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Italy eased versus the previous month in November, the latest data from Eurostat reports.
Total imports during the month amounted to 8,230 metric tons (MT), down 10% from the previous month's total of 9,130. So far imports have totalled 148,468 MT, down from 203,670 during the last calendar year.
The latest movement statistics revealed Russia was top shipper, shipping 7,497 MT. Canada was the second most important shipper selling 436 MT, followed by Argentina at 250 MT.
