Chickpeas In Holiday Mode
PANAMA - Dec 23/22 - SNS -- International chickpea markets experienced a quiet week, with the attention of many market participants diverted by the holiday season.
Uncertainty continues over India's production capacity for kabuli chickpeas during the current rabi season.
Given current rabi season seeding progress, India's farmers are on pace to plant a record 11.72 million hectares of all classes of chickpeas, up from 11.636 million last year.
