Green Lentil Exports From Canada Continue Firm Tone
PANAMA - Dec 6/22 - SNS -- Shipments of green lentils for Canada recorded major gains, advancing versus the previous month in October, the latest data from Statistics Canada reports.
Movement for the month totalled 38,327 metric tons (MT), up from 31,226 MT the previous month. This lifted movement so far during the marketing year to 95,574, up 2% last year.
The most important consumer throughout the month was India, receiving 8,122 MT. Colombia was the second most important consumer receiving 4,790 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 4,514 MT.
