Edible Beans Find Firm Tone

PANAMA - Nov 18/22 - SNS -- Global dry edible bean markets maintained their firm tone through the past week, with processors and exporters adopting a defensive posture relative to prospective demand from domestic and export consumers.

This saw the U.S. dry edible bean price index rise 1.5 points during the week to close at 100.3.

By contrast, the global pulse price index managed a 0.3 points gain on the week to close at 101.2 while the Canadian index was rose 0.7 points, closing at 102.4.
