Italy's Field Pea Imports Post Improved Result
PANAMA - Nov 15/22 - SNS -- Imports of field peas for Italy posted solid gains, advancing compared to the previous month in September, recent data from Eurostat reports.
Imports reached 27,198 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 34% from the 20,315 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 128,169 MT, compared to 171,790 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The largest supplier throughout the month was Russia, shipping 26,312 MT. Canada was the second most important origin supplying 565 MT, followed by Argentina at 150 MT.
