VANCOUVER - Sep 19/22 - STAT -- U.S. Small Red Bean markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices soaring 22% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Small Red Bean was USD$56.98 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $46.61 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags on an FOB plant basis.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $58.00 per cwt in May, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $52.20 per cwt in September.
