VANCOUVER - Sep 19/22 - STAT -- American Pacific Northwest 9mm Chickpeas markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 47% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Pacific Northwest 9mm Chickpeas was USD$41.60 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $28.28 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $51.75 per cwt in October, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $38.00 per cwt in August.
