Green Lentil Exports From Canada Continue Weak Tendency
PANAMA - Aug 4/22 - SNS -- Movement of green lentils for Canada eased versus the previous month in June, the latest data from Statistics Canada shows.
Exports during the month totalled 28,729 metric tons (MT), down from 29,271 MT the previous month. This lifted exports so far during the marketing year to 282,968, down 27% last year.
In the month, United Arab Emirates was the biggest destination, receiving 7,937 MT. Algeria was the second most important destination taking 3,999 MT, followed by Colombia at 3,054 MT.
