Lentils Exports From Australia Post Easy Month
PANAMA - Aug 4/22 - SNS -- Shipments of lentilss from Australia were slightly lower, falling relative to the previous month in June, official trade data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reveals.
Shipments for the month totalled 74,855 metric tons (MT), down from 91,355 MT the prior month. This increased shipments so far during the marketing year to 658,208, up 7% last year.
Recent movement statistics showed United Arab Emirates was number one consumer, receiving 27,500 MT during the month. Egypt was the second most important importer taking 21,639 MT, followed by Pakistan at 9,571 MT.
