Australia's Broadbean Exports Sustain Firm Tone
PANAMA - Aug 4/22 - SNS -- Export shipments of broadbeans for Australia recorded huge increases, soaring versus the previous month in June, the latest data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reports.
Movement totalled 59,666 metric tons (MT) for the month, up 408% from the 11,734 MT exported the previous month. Shipments so far total 482,437 MT, compared to 451,289 in the same period the last marketing year.
The most recent trade data reported Egypt was top consumer, taking 45,399 MT. Saudi Arabia was the second most important buyer taking 7,900 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 1,534 MT.
