VANCOUVER - Aug 2/22 - STAT -- Canadian 9mm Kabuli Chickpeas markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices rocketing 27% above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for 9mm Kabuli Chickpeas was USD$57.10 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $45.07 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bulk and loaded into trucks or railcars in western Canada.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $66.75 per cwt in October, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $49.25 per cwt in February.
