Feed Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/22 - STAT -- Canadian Feed Pea markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 47% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Feed Pea was CDN$485.47 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $329.41 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $539.10 per MT in November, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $363.76 per MT in August.
