Large Yellow Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/22 - STAT -- Canadian Large Yellow Pea markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 54% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Large Yellow Pea was CDN$634.24 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $412.22 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $679.75 per MT in May, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $516.24 per MT in August.
