Marrowfat Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/22 - STAT -- Canadian Marrowfat Pea markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers soaring 17% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Marrowfat Pea was CDN$498.19 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $425.07 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $551.15 per MT in December, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $430.36 per MT in February.
