Canaryseed Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/22 - STAT -- Canadian Canaryseed markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 34% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Canaryseed was CDN$50.09 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $37.37 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $57.00 per cwt in October, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $45.00 per cwt in August.
