Green Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/22 - STAT -- Canadian Green Pea markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 31% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Green Pea was CDN$572.70 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $437.98 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $620.04 per MT in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $519.00 per MT in July.
