Argentina's Kidney Bean Exports Record Soft Performance
PANAMA - Jul 27/22 - SNS -- Argentina's movement of kidney beans in May posted significant declines, slumping compared to the previous month, according to data from Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Censos.
Total exports throughout the month reached 13,533 metric tons (MT), down 35% from the previous month's total of 20,768. So far movement has reached 101,627 MT, up from 59,747 during the last calendar year.
The most recent movement statistics showed Turkey was number one destination, buying 2,947 MT. Brazil was the second most important destination receiving 2,436 MT, followed by Spain at 1,978 MT.
