Field Pea Imports By Belgium Record Easy Month
PANAMA - Jul 20/22 - SNS -- So far during the current calendar year recorded a easier month, with field pea imports for Belgium fell sharply relative to the previous month in May, judging from official statistics from Eurostat.
Imports reached 683 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 95% from the 12,831 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 40,590 MT, versus 37,339 in the same period the last calendar year.
The most recent trade statistics showed Canada was largest shipper, selling 654 MT. Argentina was the second most important supplier shipping 25 MT, followed by United States at 2 MT.
