Italy's Field Pea Imports Post Easy Performance
PANAMA - Jun 16/22 - SNS -- Italy's imports of field peas during April posted massive declines, sinking versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Imports during the month totalled 3,406 metric tons (MT), down from 21,858 MT the previous month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 55,958, up 16% last year.
Recent trade data reported Russia was largest origin, shipping 3,000 MT in the month. Argentina was the second most important export origin selling 195 MT, followed by Canada at 184 MT.
