Spain's Field Pea Imports Record Improved Result
PANAMA - Jun 16/22 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year recorded a better result, with field pea imports by Spain made modest gains, rising compared to the previous month in April, according to official trade data from Eurostat.
Imports during the month totalled 559 metric tons (MT), up from 468 MT the prior month. This lifted imports so far during the calendar year to 7,838, down 81% last year.
France was the most important origin, shipping 514 MT. China was the second most important shipper selling 42 MT, followed by Peru at 1 MT.
