Romania's Oil-type Sunflower Exports Reveal Slow Month
PANAMA - Jun 16/22 - SNS -- Movement of oil-type sunflowers for Romania shrank versus the previous month in April, the most recent data from Eurostat shows.
Movement reached 50 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 100% from the 194,120 MT exported the previous month. Shipments so far total 386,937 MT, versus 225,519 in the same period the previous calendar year.
For the month, Other was the number one destination, buying 48 MT. Moldova was the second most important consumer receiving 2 MT, followed by Serbia at 0 MT.
