Belgium's Field Pea Imports Extend Easy Tone
PANAMA - Jun 16/22 - SNS -- Belgium's imports of field peas in April sank compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Total imports during the month reached 1,024 metric tons (MT), down 84% from the previous month's total of 6,417. So far imports have totalled 28,100 MT, down from 30,702 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The latest trade data reported Canada was largest supplier, selling 805 MT. Russia was the second most important exporter selling 126 MT, followed by Argentina at 66 MT.
