Canada's Lentil Exports Reveal Improved Result
PANAMA - Jun 7/22 - SNS -- So far during this marketing year recorded a impeoved result, with lentil movement for Canada rose slightly compared to the previous month in April, according to recent statistics from Statistics Canada.
Total movement throughout the month reached 96,089 metric tons (MT), up 15% from the previous month's total of 83,649. So far exports have reached 1,051,058 MT, down from 1,775,755 during the previous marketing year.
The latest trade statistics reported Turkey was most important importer, receiving 37,649 MT. United Arab Emirates was the second most important importer taking 8,166 MT, followed by United States at 7,054 MT.
