Field Pea Imports By Spain Open On Easy Note
PANAMA - May 17/22 - SNS -- Imports of field peas for Spain plunged relative to the previous month in March, available data from Eurostat shows.
Total imports throughout the month reached 468 metric tons (MT), down 93% from the previous month's total of 6,245. So far imports have amounted to 7,279 MT, down from 32,810 during the last calendar year.
France was the top supplier, selling 263 MT. Canada was the second most important supplier supplying 143 MT, followed by Argentina at 50 MT.
