Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Open On Soft Tendency
PANAMA - May 17/22 - SNS -- So far during this calendar year with a softer note, with confection sunflower imports by Germany posted massive declines, sinking compared to the previous month in March, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 1,208 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 94% from the 18,685 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 42,240 MT, versus 54,819 during the previous calendar year.
For the month, China was the top exporter, selling 678 MT. Moldova was the second most important shipper selling 348 MT, followed by Argentina at 76 MT.
