Turkey's Monthly Exports Essentially Unchanged
PANAMA - May 3/22 - SNS -- Export shipments of chickpeas for Turkey sat relative to the previous month in February, the most recent data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) reports.
Total movement during the month amounted to 13,308 metric tons (MT), unchanged from the previous month's total of 13,323. So far shipments have amounted to 26,631 MT, down from 31,005 during the previous calendar year.
Iraq was the largest importer for the month, taking 4,477 MT. Italy was the second most important buyer buying 1,183 MT, followed by Syria at 956 MT.
