Netherlands's Oil-type Sunflower Imports Post Soft Opening
PANAMA - Apr 20/22 - SNS -- Netherlands's imports of oil-type sunflowers in February fell sharply versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Imports during the month totalled 573 metric tons (MT), down from 26,772 MT the previous month. This boosted imports so far during the calendar year to 27,344, up 1% last year.
Recent trade data revealed Moldova was most important supplier, supplying 441 MT for the month. Egypt was the second most important export origin selling 74 MT, followed by China at 45 MT.
