Bulgaria's Confection Sunflower Exports Record Soft Month
PANAMA - Apr 20/22 - SNS -- Movement of confection sunflowers for Bulgaria plunged compared to the previous month in February, recent data from Eurostat shows.
Movement reached 12,859 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 70% from the 43,131 MT exported the previous month. Exports so far total 55,990 MT, versus 48,939 during the previous calendar year.
Recent movement statistics revealed United States was most important consumer, buying 4,800 MT for the month. China was the second most important importer receiving 1,975 MT, followed by Egypt at 1,555 MT.
