Confection Sunflower Imports By Germany Open On Soft Tone
PANAMA - Apr 20/22 - SNS -- Germany's imports of confection sunflowers during February plunged compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Imports for the month totalled 1,711 metric tons (MT), down from 22,347 MT the prior month. This boosted imports so far during the calendar year to 24,058, down 3% last year.
Current movement data revealed China was top export origin, shipping 920 MT during the month. Ukraine was the second most important origin shipping 407 MT, followed by Moldova at 241 MT.
