PANAMA - Apr 15/22 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets maintained their firm tone through the past week helped by perceptions many farmers have sold virtually all product they had available aas the marketing year got underway.
New crop offers to growers remain at historically high level despite reports of keen interest in signing crop production contracts.
Farmers are guarantees delivery of part of their crop, with most companies offering an "act of god" clause which protects growers against a crop failure.
