Mustard Maintains Firm Tone
PANAMA - Apr 1/22 - SNS -- Mustard seed were little changed on the week, reflecting a tight supply situation and cautious selling by growers.
The USDA's seeding intentions report did not look at mustard, but among oilseeds such as canola and flax there was little significant change in seeded area in states which historically grow mustard.
It is unclear if this suggests land in mustard will increase in the United States as part of the general increase expected in North America.
