WASHINGTON - Mar 31/22 - SNS -- Area expected to be planted to sugarbeets for the 2022 crop year is estimated at 1.14 million acres, down 1 percent from 2021, according to the USDA's seeding intentions estimates.
Intended acreages are below the previous year in 6 of the 11 estimating States.
