Firm Undertone In Mustard

PANAMA - Mar 5/22 - SNS -- North Amweican mustard seed markets finished the week's trading on a firmer note against optimism demand from European Union destinations will improve because of sanctions against Russia.

Though spot market bid levels were unchanged to lower and new crop unchanged, spreads between high and low bids narrowed considerably.

The biggest week over week change was in the withdrawal of an unusually strong bid for oriental mustard seed, suggesting the company seeking product was able to cover their immediate needs.
