Beans Maintain Sideways Trend

PANAMA - Jan 21/22 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets maintained their relatively quiet tone through the past week, influenced by ongoing difficulties faced by Argentina exporters and relatively tight supplies in the United States.

This was reflected in the dry edible bean price index for the United States, which advanced 0.9 points on the week, closing at 121.8 points.

The global pulse price index slipped 0.5 points on the week to close at 125.8 while the Canadian index eased 0.5 points to finish at 134.8.
