No Change In Mustard Trajectory
PANAMA - Jan 21/22 - SNS -- North American mustard seed prices continued their record setting pace through the past week, with all classes advancing.
Markets are clearly responding to the fact combined production in Canada and the United States was under 97,000 metric tons (MT), compared to around 135,900 last year and the recent average of 186,750.
Available supplies of mustard grown in the region were profoundly affected, plunging from almost 123,700 MT last season to just under 70,000.
