Kidney Bean Exports From Argentina Continue Easy Tendency
PANAMA - Jan 18/22 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year maintained their softer tone, with kidney bean shipments for Argentina posted significant declines, slumping compared to the previous month in October, judging from available statistics from Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Censos.
Movement totalled 36,692 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 33% from the 54,681 MT shipped the previous month. Shipments so far total 254,785 MT, compared to 382,285 in the same period the last calendar year.
The biggest consumer for the month was Algeria, buying 8,995 MT. Brazil was the second most important importer taking 6,858 MT, followed by Italy at 4,546 MT.
