Field Pea Imports By Spain Extend Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Jan 17/22 - SNS -- Imports of field peas for Spain sank relative to the previous month in November, trade data from Eurostat shows.
Imports reached 700 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 68% from the 2,175 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 119,132 MT, versus 167,340 during the previous calendar year.
France was the largest exporter, selling 413 MT. Canada was the second most important supplier supplying 99 MT, followed by Argentina at 96 MT.
