Lentils Exports From Australia Post Slow Month
PANAMA - Jan 11/22 - SNS -- Exports of lentilss for Australia were little changed, dropping compared to the previous month in November, recent data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reports.
Export sales during the month reached 43,902 metric tons (MT), down from 49,341 MT the prior month. This lifted movement so far during the marketing year to 43,902, up 26% last year.
The most recent movement data showed Bangladesh was largest destination, taking 15,720 MT. Sri Lanka was the second most important importer buying 8,573 MT, followed by India at 6,674 MT.
