Canada's Field Pea Exports Continue Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Jan 6/22 - SNS -- Canada's movement of field peas in November were well down, plunging compared to the previous month, judging from data from Statistics Canada.
Total exports throughout the month amounted to 95,195 metric tons (MT), down 56% from the previous month's total of 217,051. So far exports have amounted to 920,340 MT, down from 1,540,820 during the last marketing year.
United States was the biggest consumer during the month, buying 60,920 MT. China was the second most important buyer receiving 18,234 MT, followed by Colombia at 3,048 MT.
