Canada's Green Pea Exports Maintain Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Jan 6/22 - SNS -- At this point in the marketing year continued their easier tone, with green pea exports from Canada dropped compared to the previous month in November, judging from available statistics from Statistics Canada.
Shipments reached 7,558 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 9% from the 8,304 MT shipped the previous month. Movement so far total 42,926 MT, versus 81,199 during the previous marketing year.
Yemen was the largest destination for the month, taking 1,075 MT. Colombia was the second most important buyer taking 945 MT, followed by China at 750 MT.
