Field Pea Imports By China Post Weak Performance

PANAMA - Dec 23/21 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year posted a weaker performance, with field pea imports for China sank relative to the previous month in August, judging from official trade statistics from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available.

Imports totalled 27,935 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 80% from the 137,784 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 1,511,421 MT, compared to 1,188,943 during the last calendar year.

In the month, Canada was the largest origin, supplying 23,455 MT. United States was the second most important supplier shipping 1,929 MT, followed by France at 1,562 MT.
