Mustard Resumes Record Pace

PANAMA - Dec 10/21 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets resumed their record setting pace during the past week with prices offered to farmers rising 1% for both yellow and brown and 9% over the previous week for oriental.

Grower bids for all classes of mustard have more than doubled since the start of the marketing year for farmers dressed product delivered western Canadian processing plants.

There is no good data for movement off farms because a high percentage is delivered to plants which are not required to report weekly receipts to the Canadian Grain Commission.
