French Pea Exports Continue to Slow
PARIS - Dec 8/21 - SNS -- France's field pea exports continued to slump in October, though maintaining a modest improvement the previous marketing year, judging by data from Eurostat and Terres Univia.
Export shipments during the month totalled 9,105 metric tons (MT), down from the 10,060 MT shipped the previous month and down 29% from the 12,770 MT shipped the same month last year.
Movement so far during the 2021-22 marketing year has reached 72,930 MT, up 4% from the 70,165 MT shipped during the same period last season.
