Birdseeds Somewhat Volatile
PANAMA - Nov 19/21 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets continued to post a mixed finish during the past week, reflecting short term shifts in demand and the influence of outside markets.
This was reflected in a moderate easing in Canadian canaryseed values, while U.S. white proso millet and sunflower markets advanced.
Canaryseed appears to be encountering more hand to mouth buying from domestic users than millet. So far this season the average spread between the two products has widened to record high levels
