Sunflower Seed Imports By Turkey Continue Easy Tendency
PANAMA - Nov 18/21 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year added to their softer trend, with sunflower seed imports for Turkey dropped relative to the previous month in September, judging from recent data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
Imports for the month totalled 8,135 metric tons (MT), down from 8,469 MT the previous month. This increased imports so far during the calendar year to 613,250, down 33% last year.
The top export origin throughout the month was China, supplying 3,709 MT. Romania was the second most important exporter selling 3,068 MT, followed by Bulgaria at 1,047 MT.
