China's Sunflower Seed Exports Post Weak Month

PANAMA - Nov 18/21 - SNS -- At this point in the calendar year revealed a easier month, with sunflower seed exports from China were well down, plunging relative to the previous month in July, according to the latest data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available.

Total export sales in the month reached 20,054 metric tons (MT), down 37% from the previous month's total of 32,029. So far export sales have reached 273,917 MT, up from 239,565 during the last calendar year.

Russia was the most important importer, taking 2,676 MT. Iran was the second most important importer taking 2,613 MT, followed by Egypt at 1,829 MT.
