Spain's Field Pea Imports Record Better Result
PANAMA - Nov 15/21 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Spain rocketed compared to the previous month in September, data from Eurostat shows.
Imports totalled 58,127 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 268% from the 15,778 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 116,257 MT, versus 132,195 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The biggest exporter for the month was Russia, selling 49,970 MT. Ukraine was the second most important shipper shipping 7,591 MT, followed by France at 305 MT.
