Confection Sunflower Imports By Spain Maintain Strong Performance
PANAMA - Nov 15/21 - SNS -- Spain's imports of confection sunflowers during September recorded massive gains, soaring versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Total imports for the month amounted to 30,176 metric tons (MT), up 407% from the previous month's total of 5,957. So far imports have amounted to 220,668 MT, up from 204,785 in the same period the last calendar year.
Romania was the number one shipper during the month, shipping 20,900 MT. France was the second most important export origin supplying 4,837 MT, followed by China at 2,143 MT.
