Romania's Oil-type Sunflower Exports Maintain Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Nov 15/21 - SNS -- Romania's export shipments of oil-type sunflowers during September fell sharply compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Total export sales during the month amounted to 14,439 metric tons (MT), down 63% from the previous month's total of 38,796. So far exports have reached 363,501 MT, down from 975,451 in the same period the last calendar year.
In the month, Turkey was the biggest buyer, taking 14,433 MT. Australia was the second most important importer buying 6 MT, followed by Canada at 0 MT.
